Here’s a running list of the movement on the FC Dallas roster as we head into the 2026 season.

Dec. 9, 2025: FC Dallas Acquires CF Montréal’s No. 3 Overall Pick in 2026 MLS SuperDraft via Trade – FC Dallas acquired CF Montréal’s third overall pick in the first round of the 2026 MLS SuperDraft, as well as Toronto FC’s natural third-round pick (66 overall) that Montréal obtained in July 2025. In exchange, Dallas sent $350,000 in General Allocation Money (GAM), $175,000 in 2026 GAM, $175,000 in 2027 GAM and its second-round pick (46 overall) in the 2026 MLS SuperDraft.

With the trade, FC Dallas now holds three first-round picks and one third-round pick in the 2026 MLS SuperDraft, which takes place Thursday, Dec. 18.

Dec. 15, 2025: FC Dallas Signs Midfielder Ran Binyamin from Hapoel Tel Aviv F.C. – FC Dallas has acquired midfielder Ran Binyamin via transfer from Hapoel Tel Aviv F.C. He has signed a U22 Initiative contract through the 2028-29 Major League Soccer season with club options for the 2029-30 and 2030-31 seasons. Binyamin will occupy an international roster slot, pending receipt of his P-1 visa and International Transfer Certificate.

Binyamin joins FC Dallas after spending the last three years with Hapoel where he made 85 appearances across all competitions. He made his professional debut on Aug. 20, 2022. 

Dec. 15, 2025: FC Dallas Acquires Red Bull New York’s No. 12 Overall Pick in 2026 MLS SuperDraft via Trade – FC Dallas acquired Red Bull New York’s No. 12 pick in the first round of the 2026 MLS SuperDraft. In exchange, Dallas sent $100,000 in General Allocation Money ($50,000 in 2026 GAM, $50,000 in 2027 GAM) and the club’s 2026 SuperDraft 21st overall pick. 

FC Dallas holds three first-round picks (No. 3, 12, and 16) and one third-round pick (No. 66 overall) in the SuperDraft, which takes place Thursday, Dec. 18.

Dec. 18, 2025: FC Dallas Selects Six Players in 2026 MLS SuperDraft – FC Dallas selected six collegiate players in the 2026 MLS SuperDraft. The club chose Generation adidas forward Ricardo “Ricky” Louis with the No. 2 overall pick, Generation adidas forward Nicholas “Nick” Simmonds with the No. 3 pick, and goalkeeper Niklas Herceg with the No. 16 pick. Dallas added Edouard Nys and Umberto Pelà in the second round and drafted defender Olayinka “Ola” Ogunleye in the third round.
