I knew Sydney when she played at Wakeland High School, and I knew she had a knee injury that took her out of the game her senior season. We discussed that and how the next few years afterwards are playing out, with ups and downs she’s still working though, including a second recovery from ACL repair. Resilience refers to the ability to successfully adapt to stressors, maintaining psychological well-being in the face of adversity.
